The Ford Transit has lead the UK CV sector since its launch in 1965 and has helped Ford once again secure their position as number one.

Ford's Commercial Vehicle range has secured a 24.8 per cent market share thanks to a sales lead of 61,041 vehicles, up by 38.8 per cent against 2014.

In December 2015 UK CV sales were up by 20.3 per cent at 35,565 compared with December 2014 Ford's sales were up by 28.3 per cent at 8,165.

Andy Barratt, Ford of Britain chairman and managing director, said, “We aim to reinforce our sales lead in 2016, after very encouraging results in November and December that saw Ford exceed overall sales growth in all sectors of the market.”
