Mercedes-Benz have launched a new Sport variant to their popular small panel van the Citan.
This new model is currently only available to the UK market and offers a higher specification than the standard Citan.
According to Mercedes-Benz the new sporty version is a cost-effective way of standing out from the crowd and going down the route of owning a premium vehicle.
The Citan Sport has a choice of six metallic paint colours, colour coded wing mirrors, bumpers, 16-inch alloys, chrome trim on the grille, sidebars and a tailgate plus daytime running lights.
That’s just what’s on the outside, the interior also has the addition of a leather trimmed steering wheel, sports badges on the floor mats plus air conditioning.
There is a choice of either 89bhp (109CDi) or 109bhp (111CDi) being offered with only the long wheelbase version of the Citan available.
Prices for the new Citan Sport start from £16,490 plus VAT for the new 109CDi which is only £2,000 more than the standard base model.
Another addition to the new Citan Sport is the inclusion of three-year unlimited mileage warranty MobiloVan UK as standard. This gives drivers and passengers peace of mind in the event of a breakdown or warranty repair that may take more than two hours. Mercedes-Benz own Service24 is also included in the package and is the brands own roadside assistance service.
The new Citan Sport is being offered to businesses from £199 a month (incl VAT) when based on a £1,500 deposit contribution plus 15 per cent deposit over 36 months through the use of Mercedes-Bens Financial Services.
