You may have noted that the winds seem suddenly colder, summer has finally departed!

Well it seems that Volkswagen have also noticed the turning of the seasons and they want to make sure that your van is prepared for the winter.



Owners of Volkswagen commercial vehicles need not be worried about the upcoming change in weather as they can make use of Volkswagen's Winter Health Check by booking their van into the local Van Centre.

For the sum of £10, this 29 point Express Visual Check will cover key areas such as; brake pads, steering, battery and exhaust.

Also customers will receive a 'Winter Care' kit worth £21.50 which includes cold weather essentials like de-icer, screen wash and an ice scraper. The Winter Health Checks and cold weather kits will be available until February 2016.

Trevor Hodgson-Phillips, head of service and parts at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK has said, "The expertise and aftercare packages available from the Volkswagen Van Centre network are designed to deliver peace-of-mind to our customers."

He also added, "We are providing tyre checks and all over vehicle checks at our Van Centres as a preventative measure to help keep our customers safe on the roads this winter."
