- Created: 01 July 2015
The DVLA have issued a warning to the public stating that they are aware of a email being circulated under the guise of the DVLA and that it contains a virus.
An email claiming to be from the DVLA has been received by members of the public, the contents of which asks for Direct Debit details for a vehicle to be completed on the attached Word document, which contains a virus.
The DVLA do not send Word documents when confirming Direct Debit payments and are advising anyone who receives the email or similar not to open it and delete the email.
